I had a tiff with my Boss over a Project...he wanted to kick me out ..I refused..can he succeed?

I was selected for a Project..this guy chose his crew without informing me.I protested n he threatened to kick me out.I complained against him at the Head office and he is asked to give an explanation.Since he could not satisfy my Seniors he is doing his best to tarnish my image.Now my Seniors are coming to visit the Site ..the point is should I indirectly speak on this matter or should I keep quiet ? Please suggest what I should do?
