Philosophical question about Space...(long read)?

doesn't matter if it WAS 'intended' for us to stay put... out there is a mountain and some of us are gonna want to climb it... come hail or high water....it's been with us since the first man walked upright and saw that there was a mountain over there, past the one over here... and then stood at the edge of the sea and wondered what was over there on the other side.... what is IN US is the need to know more,see more, be more.... no matter if it kills a few of us while trying to do it.... that is, after all, how we learn.... experience.....
