Do you think this is disrespectful?

Me and my friend are going to the movies tonight. We emailed eachother yesterday to say what showtimes we liked (we thought 7:00pm or 8:00pm would be best). She told me that she would contact me today in the afternoon to let me know what time she can meet me. But, I asked her to give me a time she wanted to meet today, so I can plan my day accordingly. Isn't it disrespectful she did not give me a time to meet today? I feel friendship should be mutual respect, and if I don't know what time I am going to meet her than it is hard for me to make other plans during the day. I think her not setting a proper time with me is dysfunctional. Am I wrong?
